About me
Salli Swisher has been teaching kindergarten for thirty-one years. She was awarded the Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools Teacher of the Year and Brown County Teacher of the Year in 2022 and went on to be awarded the District 5 State Teacher of the Year. She is involved in the building and district leadership teams, the MTSS leadership team, the elementary literacy committee and the Skills for Success team. She works to instill a love of learning in her students at a young age and leave a lasting impact on their lives. Her belief in the importance of understanding emotions and feelings and the impact SEL skills have on students long term, lead Salli Swisher to be instrumental in the development of a district wide social emotional wellness committee.
