About me
Jennifer Kinkoph is the district media specialist for the Aurora City School District in Aurora, Ohio. Teaching all third through fifth grade students in the district, Kinkoph guides her students to develop skills and knowledge in digital citizenship, research, coding and computer science, and design thinking.
Kinkoph, a strong advocate for giving students ownership of their learning, is committed to providing unique learning opportunities that incorporate children’s natural inclination towards exploration and that allow students’ differences to be celebrated. She upholds the belief that we are all learners, and she uses innovative practices to help her students foster a love of learning for the sake of learning.
Kinkoph has served as a team leader for her professional learning community, has presented at both district and state conferences, and is also the co-chair of her school's student council group. She was named the 2024 Ohio District 9 Teacher of the Year. All of these experiences have allowed Kinkoph to develop a culture of learning within her classroom and to support this culture within the district.
